Biggleswade Heritage Plaques

In 1997 and 2003 the Biggleswade History Society commissioned a series of over 20 green plaques that were affixed to buildings around the town, and mark places and people of local historical importance.

Some of the buildings no longer exist, such as the Biggleswade Windmill or the Swan Hotel, while others are still being used for their original purpose. A few of the plaques are currently missing.

The full text and photos of each plaque can be found in a PDF here.
