Hitchin Street | Coronation Cottages 1902 TB | Houses | 153-159 (on 155-157) “TB” stands for Thomas Bushby, born in Westoning, Bedfordshire. He was a carpenter and joiner in Biggleswade in 1901, aged 70, where he was also owner of the beer house ‘The Carpenters Arms’, now 116 Hitchin Street. He was Licensee from 1868 to 1910. He was a great-great-grandfather of our member Tim Haddow. |
