Cracking Tales & Dark Deeds in Old Biggleswade – this free 90-minute gentle walk as far as St Andrew’s church and back, stopping to tell the history of some of the places along the way and some true stories associated with them. Hear about a riot in 1757, body snatchers in the churchyard in 1826, a grocer who lashed out with the bacon knife circa 1880, dirty dealings in the Coach & Horses public house – and much more!
